Retail stores will definitely not have the high prices boutiques will, and you can customize the dress by adding embellishments or adding sleeves.

Therefore, the less people you have, the less people you have to pay for. You can also choose a more non-traditional venue such as a park or beach. Play your iPod instead of hiring a DJ or band. This can save you thousands of dollars as well.

Cut flower costs. The costs of flowers can add up, especially when it comes to the bouquets. According to Money.CNN.com, there are ways to substitute bouquets. Have your bridal party hold fans, pinwheels or clutches. You can also pick your own flowers instead of using a florist.
