The Butterfly Shingles Design
The name of this design doesn’t refer to the beautiful colors of a butterfly or delicate roofing materials. The butterfly roofs are named after the wing-spreading slant style. They are characterized by a center line where the roof rises from the sides. To some people, the roof may seem almost inverted. The butterfly design is used in warm areas, for example, in Palm Springs, CA.
