They said, “The photo shoot can be either in-studio or on location at the baby’s home where the baby will feel more comfortable among familiar surroundings. The session might last approximately 60 or 90 minutes, during which your child can be photographed in a number of poses and perhaps a change of clothing. Decisions are made when editing in order to present the best images. Presentation can be in book form or as an on-line web gallery so you can make your choices as to a range of poses and sizes.”
The proper lighting is also an issue that a photographer can solve. The eyes of young babies may be harmed by bright lights, so a direct flash is to be avoided unless the power of the flash can be lowered and look exactly as natural as any other light source. Bouncing the flash off a wall or ceiling is another way of modifying that light source. Perhaps a backup light will be used to fill shadows and to correct low lit situations.
